The socratic seminars had to be one of the most interesting projects in this class so far. it was interesting to hear what people dug up from their research and people adding onto them such as statistics and interesting points. It was cool to hear that everybody had something to say or to add that pushed the discussion forward onto more questions and concerns about our society. with the stats and stories people brought up, they really opened my eyes to many concerns for teenagers such as guns and violence. if it weren;t for the limited class time, these discussions would have easily lasted an hour to an hour and a half, Maybe even to two hours. I really enjoyed the project, it was fun, interesting, and it drew the entire class in. I look forward to any future socratic seminars, if there is any.
